Kelsey Bauer is one of the breakout drivers in Wisconsin destined to become a star at the national level. Like many other drivers, Kelsey started her career young, determined and overly competitive in go-karts. However, unlike other drivers Kelsey was setting records as a female competitor. After several successful seasons and 35 gold medals to prove it, Kelsey focused to complete a Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. All the while, keeping her technique and competitive edge alive, she continued racing. Now, Kelsey is ready to take her abilities to the next level.
Bauer won six of nine championship series she entered at Badger Raceway in Dousman, WI and won a World Championship at the Daytona International Speedway. She then went on to win a Grand National title and National Championship, all while competing in cross country, volleyball, basketball, and soccer.
Kelsey’s success has brought her exposure on a larger scene with coverage on WITI FOX 6 in addition to her recognition from UW Milwaukee. Kelsey Bauer, as a Mechanical Engineering student, was honored as the recipient of the Alan Kulwicki Scholarship twice, named after the late Greenfield, WI resident who won a NASCAR championship.
